About the Role

An immediate position is available for a field sales rep. We specialize in earthwork, concrete, asphalt, and utilities. We also offer our clients land demo, hauling services, buildings, and other services. Our clientele is primarily commercial and residential owners. The ideal candidate must have some type of experience in sales, be personable, skills related to strategic analysis and marketing, developing relationships with new clients, negotiating contracts, closing deals, and reading plans.

Responsibilities:
Develop relationships with prospective clients, while maintaining existing client relationships.

Partner with sales teams to create contract-winning proposals for current and prospective clients.

Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate terms.

He/she will be responsible for overseeing your project and making sure the customer is satisfied with the services provided.

He/she will be responsible for making sure the project can be done in a timely and efficient manner and won't interfere with other current projects.

He/she will be responsible all his clients fill out a Customer Packet before any project begins.

Creating and adding leads to our database and communicating with them.

Reading blueprints and creating proposals for potential clients.

Must have reliable transportation

Generating leads and adding information into the system

Meeting or exceeding sales goals.

Negotiating all contracts with prospective clients.

Helping determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations.

Preparing weekly and monthly reports.

Giving sales presentations to a range of prospective clients.

Understanding and promoting company programs.

Preparing and submitting sales contracts for orders.

Maintaining client records.

Answering client questions.

Requirements

Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including facilitation of group presentations.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, industry-specific analysis software and Google Drive.

  • Basic understanding of the industry, with the ability to become a subject matter expert on the job.

  • Innovation and problem-solving skills that include the ability to develop and propose solutions for clients.

  • Must be good with Math or Good with Numbers

Experience:

  • Sales: 1 year (Preferred)

  • Outside Sales: 1 year (Preferred)

  • Driver License (Required)

  • Transportation (Required)
